10 Tips for Blogs – Improving their Blog Visibility on Search Engines

In today’s blogging world, where we have recently witnessed an exponential growth in the number of blogs old and new bloggers are very busy improving their blogs visibility on search engines, to get more organic traffic through SEO activities. Some are using plugins SEO free or paid and some are even doing link-building activities.

We all agree that these activities are an essential part of building and blogging success, but they are of no use until a blog has good content, good design, and other basic stuff.

Optimizing for search engines takes a long time and is a gradual process, in the meantime, you just have to focus on your blog with dedication. A lot of bloggers hit their traffic goals, but don’t pay enough attention to other parts of their website or blog. So, today I decided to write some tips not related to SEO (strictly speaking) but equally important for those who have a blog:

The Topic Of This Post

  •  1. Biography of the author
  •  2. Archives
  •  3. Footer
  • 4. Search box
  •  5. Who I am (Page)
  •  6. Contact me (page)
  • 7. RSS feed
  •  8. Share Buttons
  •  9. Readable fonts
  • 10. Related Articles

Biography of the Author

The author’s biography is necessary, because most readers check it out, after reading the content. I have seen many websites where there is no gravatar image as well as no author bio. Having it is a must to get the author’s popularity in the search engine, as well as in the blogging world. Plus, it’s a way for you to easily enter Google Authorship (and have your photo appear in Google search results ).

Archives

Many people like to see the blogs archives before reading the content. These people first analyze the website trying to determine when it was started, how many posts it published in the previous month, and the number of posts published in a week. By looking at the archives, we can see the performance of a website, and a lot of readers want to know this.

Footer

The footer is one of the main things for a blog. For professional-looking blogs, you can include some useful resources, such as the latest posts, the best comments, the most read posts, a short bio of the author, etc.

Search Box

The search box allows visitors to search your site’s content for what they are looking for. You can enter the search engine both in the right column of the site and in the header, where it is visible. I recommend placing the search box at the top.

Who I Am (Page)

This page will surely be visited by many of your readers and other bloggers like you. We also visit my page to learn about a site’s background and owner. This page allows you to inspire other bloggers and help readers get to know you better. It is important to create a good ” about me page by sharing your opinions, your experience, and the mission. There… of your blogs.

Contact Me (Page)

This is also one of the most important pages. Sometimes, a reader wants to give you a suggestion, another blogger wants to offer you a guest post, or an advertiser wants to post their ads on your site, and the absence of a “contact” page is like stating clearly that you don’t want to be contacted. . In addition to placing an email on this page, it is advisable to add a contact form.

RSS Feed

Some of your readers love your content and want to hear about the latest updates, so make sure they can subscribe. For this reason, the RSS feed is necessary.

Share buttons many times, readers like your content and therefore want to share it. For this reason, the share buttons after each insurance post are a must. There is no denying that social media brings a lot of traffic to a website. This is one of the best ways you can promote your business or blog.

Also, people should be able to connect with you on social networks, and the Facebook “like” box, as well as the “follow me on Twitter” button, are important.

Readable Fonts

The font format used for articles on your blog must be legible. Don’t use fonts that are too fancy. Also, the font shouldn’t be too small, it should be large and legible, but not too big either. Moderation is the keyword here.

Related Articles

What do you expect readers to do when they finish reading an article? Close the tab? No, there should be related posts under each post, as this keeps readers longer on your blog and reduces bounce rate.
